Students and researchers are stressed: 52% of students worry about the availability of content, 32% worry about how to access all content of value, and 30% worry about how to know if content exists at all (OpenAthens, 2023). The academic library is well-placed to address each of these concerns – so what strategies can libraries adopt to ensure the provision of accessible, affordable resources for patrons, and decrease patron stress?
In this webinar, we will be joined by thought leaders and academics from Cassyni, Sage, and Technology from Sage to discuss digital solutions that provide students with relevant, affordable resources at the point of need. We will explore how student habits for finding digital content have changed since the pandemic, looking particularly at research video and seminars. We will preview a freely accessible and fully searchable research seminar library and learn how this can be used with Lean Library and Talis Aspire to provide seamless access to library content – all within student workflows.
Key Takeaways:
• Addressing Student Stress: Learn how libraries can reduce student anxiety over content access and availability.
• Seamless Resource Access: Explore a fully searchable research seminar library and how Lean Library supports seamless access within student workflows.
• Expert Insights: Gain strategies from industry leaders at Cassyni and Sage on providing affordable, accessible digital resources.
