10:05–10:35Journeying into user empathy: University of Melbourne Library’s quest to understand and transform the online library experience Part II The University of Melbourne undertook a 2 year research project looking at how Library users interact with digital library resources. Hear from Hannah Armitage, Discovery UX Specialist on the Framework used to capture the subtleties on how individuals discover, access and engage with Library information ,and hear how the information and insight has been put to use 4 years on from the start of the project.Hannah Armitage, Discovery UX Specialist, University of Melbourne
10:35–11:05Recent developments from La Trobe: Creating a tailor made dashboard and the perks and pitfalls of API’s Hear how La Trobe University are enhancing efficiency by using Advanced MIS to mix resource list data with additional data sources, generating dynamic reports and dashboards through Power BI to gain deeper insights into student activity. Also hear how La Trobe University have evolved their processes to regularly using modified V3 API’s.
