Key features

Create structured and annotated resource lists

Talis Aspire enables faculty to structure course lists with sections, paragraphs, annotations, and item importances. The result? Easy-to-read lists that students love. Furthermore, faculty can re-use, duplicate and copy resources quickly, all with accurate metadata, dramatically reducing the burden of course reading list admin.

Add resources from bookmarks, library holdings and OA repositories

Faculty can search for resources by title, author, or ISBN from directly within Talis Aspire. The platform searches against your library discovery service (whether EDS, Primo or WMS), Open Access repositories, and online resources – including items faculty bookmark using the Talis Aspire extension.

Get oversight and report on resources across the institution

The platform gives libraries full visibility over all lists and items on lists across the institution, alerting the library to changes on lists or when there’s a change to resourcing requirements.

Streamlined copyright compliance and acquisitions workflows

Talis Aspire integrates with all your library systems and third party copyright compliance checkers to streamline compliance and digitization requests. Furthermore, libraries can acquire from directly within Talis Aspire.

Easy-to-read course lists that build student skills

Students enjoy structured course lists that build academic reading skills. It takes the onus off students by connecting them with library holdings and OA options of the resources they need, helping students save time and money.
